A well-funded, silicon-valley backed tech-company, with a fast-growing development hub in Cambridge, while maintaining a heavy sales and growth focus in the US. With an original founding in 2015, they’ve since grown to 15 employees and brought in an experienced board of C-suite members, with proven experience in building teams in scale-up environments.
With deep connections in EMEA and US markets, they are looking to grow fast in the US, UK, and EU markets… in no particular order. Therefore, the engineering qualities are vital to sustain these ambitious growth plans, with forecast head count looking to be circa 30 by the end of 2021.
Working with high-level Arm cortex architecture, their plans are to be THE Arm powered server provider, globally. With a patent product, which is not only ethical, but also sustainable with proven reduced power-consumption compared to competitors of 80%. Their products can be applied through an array of different industries, from IoT based products which require ultra-fast servers, through to video and commercial.
They are architecting new ways to operate complex data centres at a fraction of the operational costs typically involved, using embedded system methodologies to deliver grade A computing at a fragment of the previously required space.
With new boards and a product life-cycle every 6-8 months, this is a fast-paced position in which the successful engineer will need to operate efficiently, with a dynamic approach to low-level, cutting edge architecture.
You will need to be competent with board bring-up and Linux kernel level patching.
