Location: Remote (Commutable from: Bishops Stortford, Cambridge, Harlow, Chelmsford, London).

This is a stable, varied role with clear career progression into technical or external sales. You'll work on bespoke engineering projects, represent the company at industry events, and benefit from excellent training, including sponsored IMechE membership.

This role would suit a Mechanical Engineer looking for a technically diverse, remote-based role with career progression, training, and travel opportunities.

The Role:

1. Generating technical proposals and overseeing projects through to production.
2. Client meetings to define technical specifications and project scope.
3. Developing high-level designs of bespoke engineering systems.
4. Collaborating with suppliers to generate costings and quotes.
5. Using CRM systems to track progress and report to the sales team.

The Candidate:

1. BEng in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
2. Minimum 2 years' experience in an engineering role.
3. Proficient with Excel, Word, and 2D CAD (AutoCAD).
4. Strong interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
5. Willingness to commute to Bishops Stortford during the first month for training.
