Job description

Role Description

Here in the Global Cyber & Information Security team, we are on a mission to embed cyber resilience across FNZ, protecting the platforms that support investment solutions for over 20 million people.

We are looking for an Application Security Analyst, reporting within the Cyber Resilience and Operations function. You will be working closely with developers to embed security measures and tooling across our application (platform) portfolio to help contribute to building secure products.

Ideally, you will have a knowledge of software engineering and an understanding of security risks, vulnerabilities, and alignment to security standards. You must be passionate about security and excited about joining a fast-paced global environment.

Specific Role Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the application security team in arranging for 3rd party penetration tests and registering identified vulnerabilities on JIRA.
  • Track security defect remediation.
  • Assess application security vulnerabilities.
  • Generate reports for support of security dashboards.
  • Support threat modelling and secure delivery lifecycle processes on behalf of CISO.
  • Support change boards.

Experience Required

Primary Requirements

  • Desire to learn about application security and vulnerability management.
  • Ideally, some DevOps understanding including SDLC.
  • Good understanding of Information Security experience.
  • Some experience with DevSecOps tooling e.g. GitHub, CI/CD.
  • Good collaboration and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to organise multiple activities, track, and report progress.
