About this role
About Post Trade Accounting (PTA):
- One of the largest areas of investment in Aladdin
- A rapidly growing, thriving business, with significant green field development opportunities, and assignments that directly impact business outcomes

- Agile development practices balance workloads while providing engineers with a variety of experiences
Qualifications/ Competencies:
- B.S. / M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline
- 6+ years of hands-on object oriented programming experience in Java
- 6+ years of experience with Open Source tools (Spring, Hibernate, Apache, Maven, JUnit, etc.)
- 4+ years' experience with relational database development (SQL, stored procedures, data modeling). Sybase experience preferred.
- Experience on frameworks like Angular, React, Node.js, Typescript is a plus
- Enthusiasm and flexibility to work independently or in a team-environment
- Multi-tasking, collaboration and effective communication skills are a must.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good to have:
- Experience with at least one NoSQL Database (e.g. Apache Cassandra) and one scripting language (Perl/Python)
- Experience with cloud native development (Kubernetes, Docker), open source publish-subscribe frameworks like Apache Kafka.
- Interest in financial markets is preferred.
