Application and Data Manager (DV + NPPV3) - £800 per day via Umbrella - 12-month contract - Birmingham hybrid - SCC Flex Contract

We are seeking a DV & NPPV3 Applications and Data Manager to lead a team responsible for national application services. This role involves managing a diverse team to ensure smooth operations.

Your responsibilities as the Application and Data Manager:

1. Lead and mentor the Application Development and Data Teams.
2. Manage and prioritize workloads according to service levels and ITIL best practices.
3. Represent the team in meetings and project boards.
4. Communicate technical solutions clearly to stakeholders.
5. Advise on various technologies such as Kubernetes, containerization tooling, .NET, JavaScript, SQL, and NoSQL technologies.
6. Ensure smooth transition of new services from project to BAU support.

As the Application and Data Manager, you will have:

1. Active DV and NPPV3 clearance.
2. Service management of high-priority digital or technology services.
3. Technical expertise in Kubernetes, containerization tooling, .NET, JavaScript, SQL, and NoSQL technologies.
4. Experience with Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
5. Building and maintaining relationships with business users and senior stakeholders.
6. Managing suppliers and their performance.
7. Excellent communication skills.
8. Line management and leadership experience.
9. Understanding of the Application Lifecycle.
10. Knowledge of ITIL processes and working to strict SLAs.
11. Experience with application upgrades, patches, and failovers.
