APC Building Surveyor / Project Manager

A well-established construction and property consultancy is seeking an experienced APC Building Surveyor or Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven professional who is capable of running projects with minimal supervision, working across a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial schemes.

The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can take ownership of projects from inception to completion. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a range of building surveying and project management instructions.
  • Acting as Contract Administrator or Employer’s Agent on construction projects.
  • Delivering defects analysis, planned maintenance, and refurbishment projects.
  • Overseeing budget control, procurement, and contractor management.
  • Working closely with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

  • APC progression towards MRICS or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to run projects independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and construction processes.
  • Experience in residential and commercial property sectors.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
