Location: Newbury + *Hybrid Working

Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri

Duration: 12 months Fixed Term Contract

What you’ll do

  • You will be the product owner of your squad and it will be your responsibility to understand and align with business priorities and matching to D&A capacity.
  • Own the team backlog and champion an agile mindset, ensuring that your squads deliver in accordance with a regular sprint cadence, including resourcing, plans, and prioritisation.
  • Pro-actively work with the wider D&A team to drive cohesive solutions across all areas and achieve effective use of our resources managed through Data and Analytics delivery squads, while identifying areas of opportunity where value can be added through experimenting and prototyping.
  • Build trusted collaborative relationships with a variety of stakeholders with clear communications with senior stakeholders across business and IT.
  • Provide day-to-day direction to your squad. Manage the outcomes of activities across a cross-functional team consisting of both offshore and onshore SMEs in their own area of expertise.

Who you are

  • Demonstrated ability to lead business value through promoting the benefits of Data & Analytics and the use of information to support business decision-making, through high-quality management information.
  • Telecoms business acumen, commercial mindset, and understanding of financials with a proven ability to capture, analyse, and organise large volumes of demand and visualise and communicate data models to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven communication skills to manage stakeholder expectations and drive projects with the resilience to remove blockers and the ambition to deliver high quality. Highly numerate, analytical thinker.
  • Ability to identify opportunities, translate complex data into actionable insights, and uphold challenge and discussion with senior managers and stakeholders from across the business and third parties to support business decision-making, especially for Finance and Base Management teams.
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills to drive and motivate the scrum team.
