A leading environmental services provider is seeking a skilled Environmental Fate Scientist, Study Director, to join their team in the South West of England.
This is a great opportunity to work on critical high impact environmental fate studies within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
This activity drives water and environmental ecotoxicology studies, for example measuring pharmaceuticals and their impact on the environment, which is a subject close to the hearts of many, and will mean you work in a role with a tangible impact on the world around you.
The analytical chemistry activities of this role will see you using HPLC method development, LC-MS and GC-MS alongside wider analytical chemistry skills in chromatography, spectroscopy, and wider laboratory testing activities. As a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Study Director, you will lead and manage environmental fate studies, ensuring successful project delivery on time and within budget.
You will oversee all aspects of the study process from sample preparation to final reporting while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role also involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal teams and contributing to the development of study plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and writing reports.
