JOB SUMMARY
Welltower is the largest healthcare REIT and one of the largest REITs in the world. It has approximately $8.8 billion in available liquidity and has completed over $17.1 billion in investments since Q4 2020. This includes $6.1 billion in acquisitions during the first three quarters of 2024. The Investment team is at the forefront of the company's growth and is responsible for all new investments, from initial valuation and deal structuring through detailed due diligence and closing. As an Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing potential investments in senior housing. Welltower’s UK team manages a large portfolio of senior housing assets (over 10,000 units across more than 130 assets) and has a significant pipeline (exceeding £1 billion) for further investments through acquisitions and development. The UK team is small and dynamic, so the Analyst will be a key member of the deal team throughout the full lifecycle of a deal, gaining comprehensive experience across a variety of acquisitions. Key responsibilities include underwriting potential acquisition and development opportunities; conducting operator/client credit analysis; and reviewing and analyzing business plans, management teams, budgets, and financial statements at both the company-wide and individual property or portfolio levels.
