How will you contribute?
- Reporting into the Brand Image & Digital Communications Director
- Responsible for the digital and social media communications for the brand.
- Lead and coordinate digital strategies, tactics, campaigns and content to fuel demand, growth and engagement.
- Work closely with the Brand Image & Digital Communications in building brand content and stories ensuring campaign and special projects translate in the Digital and Social space.
- Manage, mentor and inspire a team of two direct reports, the Global Digital & Social Media Specialist and Social Media Executive.
- Oversee the day-to-day management and drive the strategic development of the House's global & local social media channels: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Weibo, WeChat, Red, Kakao, Line.
- Oversee the social media calendar and collaborate with the team on defining the copywriting, hashtags and tone of voice.
- Responsible for the Social-first content strategy, production and execution.
- Manage all reporting for the above channels checking progress and growth within each, and proposing strategic approaches based on findings.
- Lead on proposals for new platform launches and structural management of these platforms.
- Oversee content briefs and needs for social media platforms. Ensure alignment with Creative team and Production, and brief digital deliverables for all campaigns.
- Key day to day contact for regional teams working on digital platforms as well as agencies in APAC. Partner with regional teams to execute effective localised plans and ensure global coordination.
- Key day to day contact for the Ecommerce & CRM team, aligning digital product pushes with commercial focuses and needs.
- Working closely with the Partnerships & VIP team on the brand Influencer & KOL strategy ensuring social relevancy and alignment with the brand.
- Oversee editorial strategy and timely updates to About Us www.alexandermcqueen.com. Aligning with the overall communications strategy through rich content.
- Work on digital innovation together with the House's innovation team to ensure that new opportunities are explored, honed and launched effectively and are in line with the tone of voice, visual language and narrative of the House.
- Partner with the Media team to ensure organic and paid activities, content and TOV are aligned.
- Lead the VIP dressings Digital communications strategy in partnership with the VIP, PR and Creative teams.
Required Skills:
- You will be able to demonstrate the desired Alexander McQueen behaviours.
- +8 years experience in Social Media and Digital.
- Previous experience in creating and executing successful digital and social media strategies from conception to execution.
- Leadership and team management skills, with experience leading, developing and mentoring a team.
- Must have a strategic mindset combined with creative and visionary flair.
- Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to optimizing campaigns and understanding social behaviour.
- Passion for the fashion industry and a deep knowledge of trends, both digital and within luxury culture.
