Position: Aisle Master Forklift Driver

Location: Belfast

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour

Overtime: Paid at time & a half

Hours of Work:

Monday to Thursday 10am to 6pm, Friday 8am to 4pm

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Receiving, handling and control of raw materials and goods supplied, ensuring deliveries are in accordance with the purchase order and shipping documents, and are in good condition.
• Reporting any discrepancies of receipts, purchase orders or shipping documents to the supervisor.
• Packaging & storing materials, finished goods & pallets by forklift ensuring they are stored in the allocated location.
• Conducting inventory & stock checks and reporting any discrepancies.
• Transporting raw materials & finished products to and from various departments.
• Performing various manual tasks within the warehouse/production department.
• Ensuring workplace is kept clean & tidy to avoid any health & safety breaches.
• Following all health & safety procedures as laid out by the business.
• Communicating with colleagues & supervisors to ensure all work is completed.
• Working in compliance with health & safety regulations as directed by the client.

Essential Criteria:

• Valid reach forklift licence (in-house licences accepted).
• Valid Aisle Master license.
• Excellent communication & teamwork skills.
• 2 Years previous experience working in a warehousing/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work under own initiative.

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous experience working with feed or within a mill environment.
• Health & safety accreditation.
