Job description

Aircraft Mechanical Fitter
Anglesey
£27.07 per hour + shift allowance and OT
12-month contract

Certain Advantage is collaborating with a leading aerospace company to recruit an experienced Aircraft Mechanical Fitter. You will be responsible for assisting in the movement, Line and Base Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations.
  2. Accomplishment of Maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by the nominated Shift Supervisor or Certifying Engineer.
  3. Work to high standards to ensure the continued safe operation of the aircraft.
  4. Completion of maintenance, including airframe structure, power plant, mechanical and electrical systems in accordance with written instructions laid down by OEM.
  5. Conduct off-aircraft mechanical, power plant, component and composite technical work in workshops as required.
  6. Assist in day to day running of the aircraft Hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities.

Your Background:

  1. Must have thorough knowledge of engine and airframe systems.
  2. Knowledge of specialised test equipment relating to engine and airframe systems.

  3. Aircraft Base Maintenance
