LEAD DESIGN ENGINEER

NEW CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE WITH A LEADING AEROSPACE COMPANY FOR A DESIGN APPROVER OR AUTHORISER

• Up to £52ph inside IR35
• Initial contract until December 2025
• Filton based
• Opportunity for 2 days a week from home
• 35 hour working week over 4.5 days
• BPSS clearance required

WHAT WILL THE LEAD DESIGN ENGINEER BE DOING?

The role will provide the opportunity to ensure the structural design of the Wings meets the desired airworthiness and product requirements. You’ll provide design leadership and take ownership of Lean Engineering improvements. Other roles include:

• Leading complex and/or multi value projects
• Risk management
• Finding creative solutions for complex problems

WE NEED THE LEAD DESIGN ENGINEER TO HAVE….

• Previous Aircraft Design experience
• Experience with CATIA V5, ICC, ECM & Pass
• Holds a Design Approver or Authorisation Signatory
• The ability to go through a BPSS check
