Job description

Air Conditioning Engineer - Aberdeen - Salary up to £42,000 DOE

CBW is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and qualified Air Conditioning Engineer to join a growing FM company on a permanent basis. This mobile role covers Aberdeen and the surrounding areas, providing both planned and reactive maintenance services. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in commercial maintenance and hold a full, clean driving license. This role involves working on air conditioning systems, chillers, and small installations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
  2. Service and maintain air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including split systems, VRVs, VAVs, VRFs, AHUs, FCUs, chillers, and other HVAC equipment.
  3. Diagnose faults and complete necessary repairs efficiently.
  4. Assist with minor installation projects.
  5. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and safe working procedures.
  6. Maintain detailed service records and documentation.
  7. Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients effectively.
Requirements:
  1. NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (minimum).
  2. F-Gas 2079 Category 1 certification (essential).
  3. Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities management environment.
  4. Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems of work.
  5. Ability to carry out manual tasks, including working at heights and in confined spaces.
  6. Willingness to be part of an on-call rota.
  7. Proficient in verbal and written communication, with the ability to use mobile devices for reporting.
  8. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  9. A team player who can also work independently.
  10. Full UK driving license.
