Air Conditioning Engineer

J L Facilities are currently recruiting an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer for an exciting role for one of our long-standing clients. The business is approved by many top manufacturers and continues to grow from strength to strength. You will be working within retail, commercial, industrial, and leisure premises.

ROLE: Lead Air Conditioning Engineer

LOCATION: Covering the Midlands area

SALARY: Up to £38,000 DOE

You will be working within a mixture of commercial environments including commercial office space, listed buildings, and high-end residential properties.

As a Senior Service Air Conditioning Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

1. Scheduled service and maintenance visits on a variety of systems, including split, VRF, hybrid HVRF, CRAC, MVHR, and AHUs.
2. Commissioning of newly installed systems.
3. Fault finding & diagnosis.
4. Liaising with the Service & Maintenance Manager to identify & procure replacement parts.
5. Making sure repairs are fast and flawless to keep downtime at a minimum.
6. Gathering data, writing detailed reports, and creating F Gas logs and asset lists using Big Change field engineer software.
7. Sharing your wisdom by training and mentoring junior engineers and trainees.
