We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled AC Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, installation, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of AC engineers, ensuring high standards of service, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining optimal performance of all HVAC systems.
Responsibilities:
Supervision & Team Management: Lead and manage a team of AC engineers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs of air conditioning and refrigeration units to minimise downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
Installation & Upgrades: Installation of new HVAC systems and upgrading existing systems to improve energy efficiency and performance.
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting for complex issues within HVAC systems, providing technical support as needed.
Quality Control: Ensure all work is completed to industry standards, local regulations, and company policies. Review work reports and maintenance logs to ensure quality.
Scheduling & Planning: Plan, schedule, and prioritise maintenance tasks alongside the specialist support, ensuring that work is completed within designated timelines.
Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of parts and materials, ensuring that necessary tools and equipment are always available for work.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance and repair activities are carried out safely, following health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance work, repairs, and installations. Prepare reports for management on performance, issues, and recommendations.
Education:
Refrigeration and Air Conditioning City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Fully Qualified F GAS Engineer.
Experience:
Have sound knowledge of Daikin, Mitsubishi, and Toshiba equipment
Experience with Chillers, Split Units, VRVs, VRFs, FCUs, and AHUs.
Have 5 years' experience in a similar role (applicants without relevant experience will not be considered)
Experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex HVAC systems.
Experience of installing air conditioning systems.

BMS Experience desirable but not essential.
Additional Requirements:
This is a physically demanding role, performing tasks such as lifting heavy equipment etc will be required.
Full and clean driving licence.
