Job description

Mobile AHU Commissioning Engineer - London and Surrounding Areas
Salary: £55,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an AHU Commissioning Engineer to join a leading manufacturer in the HVAC industry. Due to their expansion across the UK, they are looking for a skilled engineer to travel across London and the surrounding areas, commissioning and ensuring optimal performance of their air handling units (AHUs) and ventilation systems.

You will play a key role in the commissioning of AHU systems and related equipment, ensuring they meet design specifications and operate at maximum efficiency. In addition, you will provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to both clients and other engineers, ensuring successful project completion and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commission AHUs and ventilation systems to meet design specifications and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to plan and execute commissioning programs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any faults or issues related to AHUs, ventilation systems, and control systems.
  • Work with clients to provide technical advice and resolve any issues during the commissioning process.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Provide detailed reports and documentation of the commissioning process.
Position Requirements:
  • Experience in commissioning AHUs and related ventilation systems.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC and BMS systems, including control protocols such as BACnet and Modbus.
  • Experience in fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of AHU systems and controls.
  • Relevant qualifications in HVAC or refrigeration, such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to multiple sites across London and surrounding areas.
  • Ability to pass or hold relevant DBS and security clearance.
In Return You Can Expect:
  • Competitive salary of up to £55,000.
  • 40 hours on-site per week plus 10 hours guaranteed travel time paid.
  • Overtime rates: 1.5x Monday-Friday, 2x on weekends and bank holidays.
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
  • Company van (available for private use).
