Agriculture / Land Management Lecturer

Location: Bicton College

Salary: £28,835.04 - £29,886 FTE (CC34 - CC36 with Market Premium included) - (pro-rata salary for 22.5 hours per week £17,538.30 - £18,170.10)

Terms & Conditions: Part Time (22.5 hours/52 weeks), Teaching Contract

About the role

Bicton College is seeking a motivated and proactive lecturer to deliver lessons to our further education (FE) and higher education (HE) students enrolled in Level 2 to Level 5 programmes in Agriculture. The successful candidate will support programme managers in the delivery of these programmes and ensure a positive learning experience for all students, helping them achieve their maximum potential. This role involves a blend of theoretical and practical teaching, utilising our farm and agriculture and land management facilities available at Bicton College.

Skills & Experience

  1. A minimum of 2 years of post-qualifying experience in Agriculture or Land Management
  2. Experience in teaching, training, or mentoring practical agricultural skills.
  3. A full teaching qualification, such as PGCE, DET, or Certificate of Education, or a willingness to achieve this within three years of appointment.
  4. Relevant industry-recognised qualifications in Agriculture or Land Management

This role is on a part-time basis; 22.5 hours per week.
