Agricultural Property Solicitor or Legal Executive

Taunton, Somerset

What will you do?

Manage your own caseload across broad property types, including:

• Listed buildings, high value rural residential properties & unregistered land
• Advise on complex farm/agricultural property transactions from bare land, working farms and large estates

Projects will include:

• Farm diversification, renewable energy projects and nutrient neutrality issues
• Advise on support payments & tenancies, rights of way and environmental issues (+ all aspects of the sale, purchase & mortgaging of agricultural land and farms)
• Work closely with and be supported by other departments, including real estate and energy & planning
• Advise a wide client base, including farming families, landed estates, investors, banks as well as private individuals

What will you need?

• To be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive
• At least 1 year property experience – ideally to include HNW and/or agricultural & rural property matters
• Candidates with agricultural experience from smaller practices who are looking to step up are very welcome to apply
