The Agile Lead System Engineer will be part of JLR’s leading multi-disciplinary systems engineering team, which is responsible for the functional definition of Driver Information functionality for current and future vehicle architectures, both “On-Board” the vehicle and Off-Board in Cloud environments.
You will be responsible for the generation and maintenance of the systems engineering requirements in the Traceable Requirements Management system (TRM) and model-based engineering tools (Catia Magic Systems) and ensure that requirements meet the required quality standards for content and traceability.
Although this is a technical lead position, you will be acting as the squad's Scrum Master. This will involve running daily standups/scrum meetings, resolving any conflicts, and making sure the team is aligned on agile principles and methods of working.
Other responsibilities include ensuring the content is properly specified, the supplier delivers against this specification, and that the delivered system is fully verified for inclusion on a vehicle program meeting the programme requirements for quality, cost, and time. Here’s what to expect:
