About the Job

This is an exciting position for an enthusiastic hands-on Agile Delivery Manager who will play a key leadership role in the introduction and evolution of agile techniques into our global software and IT Technology teams. The role will focus on the agile journey and instilling the agile mindset in the teams with the goal for them to become self-managing and take ownership of the end-to-end delivery process.

What You'll Be Getting Up To

• Be a role model, demonstrating strong delivery ethics using agile values and lean principles through your thinking, processes, and actions.
• Nurture and inspire the team to take responsibility for their delivery process and the outcomes they deliver.
• Empower and encourage the teams to focus on delivering value.
• Be an active participant and facilitator of important team activities (e.g., daily stand-up, retrospectives).
• Help the team to 'fail fast' using data to build learning and support continuous improvement.
• Maintain high levels of communication with other teams and key stakeholders.
• Bring people together to solve problems and share success.
• Introduce and evolve agile and lean techniques through the practice of continuous improvement.
• Maintain delivery momentum by removing impediments and mitigating risks.
• Ensure a visible delivery plan for each team.
• Share your best knowledge, experience, and techniques with the Delivery Practice.
• Lead, mentor, support, and coach teams and provide guidance to Agile Delivery Leads.
• Work with senior stakeholders to ensure strategic roadmaps are aligned and delivered.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Professional, or PMI’s Agile Certified Professional (ACP) certification.
• 6+ years of Project Delivery experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Jira or Confluence.
• Demonstrable experience working and introducing Agile and/or Kanban to a reputable organization, ideally at scale.
• Background working with technology and development teams.
• Exceptional leadership skills.
• Strong communication and influence skills.
• Demonstrable development of cross-functional teams through coaching and mentoring.

Other

• Deep understanding of Agile principles and frameworks.
• Proven track record of introducing Agile techniques and principles within teams to drive improvements to the agile maturity levels.
• Significant experience as an Agile Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, or Agile Project Management with IT.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
