Location: Devon

Salary / Rate of pay: £14 per hour

Platinum Recruitment are currently supporting a luxury boutique hotel on the South Devon coast, and we have an opportunity for an experienced Agency Kitchen Porter to assist them on an ongoing temporary basis, starting immediately.

What’s involved?

As an experienced Agency Kitchen Porter, you will be representing Platinum Recruitment on a temporary assignment at a luxury boutique hotel situated on the South Devon coast. This beautiful property has a fantastic reputation, breathtaking views, and serves a memorable dining experience for their guests between the 2 fine dining restaurants. Temporary Kitchen Porter support is required on an ongoing basis, starting immediately.

You will have previous experience of working as an Agency Kitchen Porter in hotels and will be responsible for ensuring the kitchen team has access to clean crockery, pots, pans, and utensils, as well as cleaning all kitchen areas daily, including fridges, freezers, and stores. As an Agency Kitchen Porter, you will also be responsible for checking and putting away deliveries, reporting any shortages to the Head Chef. You should be an excellent team player, hardworking, and have excellent communication skills.

Staff accommodation is available on this temporary assignment; however, due to their remote location, the assignment may be more suited to an Agency Kitchen Porter with their own transport as there is no public transport in the area. Free parking is available, whilst the nearest train station is a 30-minute taxi ride away.
