Afro hairdresser and hairstylist

Salary: £27,000 - £40,000 per year

If you are looking to be trained on the science of afro hair, scalp needs, and hair care as it relates to afro hair, we are looking for a full-time team member. The position requires working 5 days a week with shifts from 09:45 am - 7:30 pm or 12:00 noon - 7:30 pm. Weekend work may be required, with Sunday hours from 11:45 am - 5:00 pm.

This role caters to afro textured hair; no braiding or adding extensions will be required. We provide hair coaching and treatments, and you will receive continuous training on how to perform these tasks, so no prior hair experience is necessary.

Job Description

As a Hair Coach (not to be confused with a hairdresser), you will be expected to attend training for skill development. We pay you to receive constant ongoing training.

1. Provide hair care coaching/education to clients
2. Provide treatments to clients
3. Identify scalp issues and hair loss
4. Maintain and ensure accurate record keeping
5. Complete ad hoc and other reasonable requests as required by management

You will be working with a team of Trichologists and hair coaches. Contract length: 36 months.
