This successful travel company prides itself on providing enriching holiday experiences to a wide range of hand-picked worldwide destinations, with an emphasis on adventure. As they expand their product portfolio, they are now looking for an experienced Africa Travel Specialist to join their small team in their central Brighton office. Basic salary of up to £36k dependent on experience plus bonus, hybrid working.

Africa Travel Specialist - Role & Responsibilities:

• Responding to incoming calls and emails, using your expert knowledge of Africa to provide advice to customers, guiding them through the sales process and beyond to look after them every step of the way.
• Creating dream holidays, tailoring quotes to match customers' requirements perfectly, whilst working to sales targets.
• Providing an efficient, customer-focused service throughout the booking and after-sales process.
• Building professional, meaningful relationships with overseas suppliers and, in collaboration with colleagues, developing the product in your specialist areas.
• Contributing to content on the website and other marketing campaigns.

Africa Travel Specialist - Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in travel sales, preferably selling East & Southern Africa holidays for a UK-based tour operator.
• First-hand experience of travel to Southern and/or East Africa with strong destination knowledge.
• Proven success working in a target-based travel sales role.
• Results-driven and proactive with a motivation to learn and increase your product range.
• Commercially astute with the ability to proactively seek new opportunities.
• Genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Ability to manage and prioritise workload, with the ability to adapt and multitask.
• Driven to succeed with resilience, and a passion for travel and adventure.
