Your team: The Times and Sunday Times are two of the most respected and trusted news publications in the world. Our mission is to deliver quality journalism and information to our readers, while fostering a deep understanding of the world around us.
Your role: Will report to the Affiliates Manager, this role is responsible for sourcing appropriate travel products; holidays, cruises, tours, hotels and ancillary products and adding affiliate links into editorial content from a range of suppliers pre-approved by editorial and aligned with audience insight and market data.
Day to day you will:
- Work closely with the travel editorial team to ensure their approved supplier list is up to date and on affiliate networks.
- Sourcing appropriate travel product/offers that are relevant to the content; add links which drive through to a sale.
- Generate tracked urls from multiple platforms and integrate them to content in the CMS / WordPress site.
- Administer merchandising of special deals from affiliate partners, ensuring deals are up to date at all times across the website.
- Sourcing offers for the weekly travel newsletter. Collecting assets from partners, and getting their approval for the newsletter draft within the deadline.
- Conduct reporting and analysis of affiliate revenue and assist with weekly trading updates.
- Assist the Travel Partnerships team with ad-hoc requests as required.
What we’re looking for from you:
- A broad knowledge of travel products and providers including touring and cruise.
- Knowledge of holiday destinations and ability to offer a variety of holidays/trips.
- Experience within the travel online environment and familiarity with the latest travel trends.
- Commercially driven, experience working to targets and KPIs.
- Comfortable collaborating with suppliers to curate itineraries and promote these within articles in a CMS.
- Customer-focused with an understanding of the importance of excellent service delivery.
- Able to build rapport and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets.
