Job title: Aesthetics Technician
Job location: North East London
Hourly pay rate: £22.28 PAYE / £28.44 Umbrella
Shift Pattern: Mon - Fri
Hours per week: 50
Duration: On-going

Position Summary:
As an Aesthetics Technician you will be working on a live rail depot as a member of a productive team. Your job role will include varied duties and tasks such as:

  1. Aesthetic condition examinations & rectification work (Inspecting units for any visual defects relating to the aesthetic condition of the interior & exterior of the fleet).
  2. Bodyside repair of dents, scratches, scrapes & vegetation damage.
  3. Spray painting interior & exterior train panels & components.
  4. Decal replacements.
  5. Lino flooring repairs.
  6. Internal & external graffiti removal.
  7. Window film replacements.
  8. Damaged component replacement which requires minimal mechanical skill (non-safety related items like passenger seat change, broken cup-holders, cracked PIS lenses, window replacements, window latches etc.).
  9. Updating Maximo work orders & reporting defects found with before & after rectification photos.
  10. Logging of work records on Maximo system - Tablet and Desktop based.
  11. Working at all berthing locations.
  12. Depot DP duties.
  13. Depot driving duties.

Person Profile/Experience:
Experience in vehicle body repairs from prep to paint is required. The ideal person will:

  1. Have mechanical experience.
  2. Be reliable with timekeeping & willing to work overtime when required.
  3. Have good communication skills.
  4. Possess basic computer literacy.
  5. Hold a full UK driver's licence.
