Aerospace Textile Operative / Industrial Sewing Machinist

We have a wonderful opportunity to work for a family-run Global Market Leader who has been established for nearly 80 years and is based just outside of Uxbridge.

We are looking for an Aerospace Textile Operative who has experience working with industrial sewing machines and a challenging range of fabrics.

Salary: £29K-£30K per annum + great benefits.

Hours: 08.00-16.45 Monday to Thursday with a 12pm early finish on Fridays.

Responsibilities:

1. Using patterns to cut out templates dictated by technical drawings and instructions.
2. Demonstrating excellent hand-to-eye coordination and cutting fabrics accurately.
3. Understanding weft and weave techniques.
4. Performing simple maintenance of sewing machines, such as changing needles.
