Job description

We are delighted to be working with a local firm that has been growing due to continued success across the region. They are continually growing both their readership and client base and have established a strong reputation for professionalism and quality since the company launched 25 years ago.


THE ROLE:

You'll be responsible for maintaining the profitability of the titles by hitting monthly targets, acquiring new businesses, and developing the products to ensure their full potential is reached.

  1. Customer management, dealing with local businesses (both over the phone and in person).
  2. Lead sourcing and product planning also form important parts of this challenging role - all the while ensuring you're offering a positive customer experience throughout.
  3. Grow and develop our portfolio of local directories.
  4. Lead sourcing to generate new customers and hit new business targets.
  5. Managing the current new customer database efficiently and effectively.
  6. Manage print products to ensure they hit targets and realise their full potential.
  7. Maintain relationships with existing clients and current spend.
  8. Suggest, develop and carry out actions to improve sales performance and identify new opportunities for increased revenue.
  9. Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner.
  10. Maintain company customer services standards across the business.

ABOUT YOU:
  1. Background in telephone sales and, preferably, advertising.
  2. Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  3. The ability to accurately report opportunities, sales and results.
  4. The ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
  5. Solid business acumen and the ability to problem solve.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Travel is required so a full EU driving licence is required, a company car is available for this travel.
