About the Role:
As an Advanced Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children in care, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. You will work with a complex caseload, utilising your advanced skills and knowledge to assess needs, develop care plans, and deliver effective interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage a complex caseload of children in care.
2. Conduct thorough assessments of children's needs and risks.
3. Develop and implement effective care plans.
4. Provide intensive support and intervention to children and families.
5. Work collaboratively with other professionals, including social workers, foster carers, teachers, and health professionals.
6. Prepare and present reports for court.
7. Mentor and support less experienced social workers.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work degree.
2. Registered with Social Work England.
3. Significant experience of working with children in care.
4. Advanced knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance.
5. Excellent assessment, planning, and intervention skills.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
