Dearne Valley sits on the edge of the Pennines, looking out to beautiful views of the countryside and attractive stone-built villages. As the countryside here is flatter than the normal Yorkshire landscape, makes it a perfect location for exploring by foot or on bike. The region is enriched in wildlife, with stunning Nature reserves including Blacker Wood, Cliffe Wood, Wither Wood and Lower Hartley Bank Wood. There is so much more on offer from great food and drink, to shopping and entertainment for all of the family, it really is a place of beauty and fulfilment.
Our Dearne Valley 24-Hour Hospital is supported by our newly appointed Practice Manager, Head RVN and a strong clinical Nursing team. It’s a purpose-built facility with up-to-date digital x-ray, ultrasound and full body CT scanner and an in-house laboratory. The practice has 3 large consulting rooms, 2 theatres, large prep area, internal lab facilities and large learning and office spaces.
You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the veterinary team and ensuring the provision of exceptional medical care to our patients. Your leadership skills, clinical expertise, and passion for animal welfare alongside the support we provide through our regional teams and support centre will contribute significantly to the continued success and growth of the practice, your team and yourself.
We are offering full time working pattern of 4 weekdays per week and a 1 in 6 weekend rota.
We offer a relocation package if relocating from outside the UK or more than 60 miles from your current UK address.
