Turn Around for Children Service | £6k in welcome & retention | Flexible Working | £8k relocation package

About the Team:

The Turn Around for Children Service is a multi-agency, professional service which manages and delivers the Gloucestershire Family Drug & Alcohol Court. You will support families who have addictions and co-morbidities which present as Hidden Harm for children. You'll work intensely, therapeutically, systematically, and restoratively with trauma across whole families, most often generational trauma. You will be working with families in a court setting and writing reports every fortnight.

Salaries range from £46,731 - £49,764

Locations: Cotswolds, Tewkesbury, Stroud, Forest of Dean, Cheltenham, Gloucester

The package includes:

  • welcome payment of £4,000
  • an annual retention payment of £2,000
  • a relocation package of up to £8,000
  • Flexible working options
  • generous annual leave starting at 25.5 days and increasing to 30.5 days after five years, with the ability to purchase 10 additional days per year for added flexibility

The Council is dedicated to providing timely support for every child, aiming to ensure a happy and fulfilling life. The team structure is carefully designed to support staff with manageable caseloads, including a Team Manager, Advanced Practitioner, and four Social Workers in each team.
