An established healthcare provider is seeking an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist to enhance patient care in musculoskeletal treatment. This role offers the chance to work in a supportive environment with no on-call or weekend duties, providing outpatient assessments and treatments. The ideal candidate will have injection skills, a HCPC qualification, and the ability to manage complex cases. With flexible shifts and a focus on professional development, this position is perfect for those looking to make a significant impact in patient care while enjoying a balanced work-life schedule.
Are you an experienced qualified physiotherapist with injection skills? Do you have the passion to make a difference to patients who need MSK outpatient treatment? If so, look no further, as we could have the job for you!
We are looking for an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist (APP) to join our friendly, welcoming MSK service. Our team consists of GPwERs, Physiotherapists, APPs, Osteopaths, and a specialist women's/mens health team. This is a great role with no on-call or compulsory weekend work and is offered on a part-time basis. We are based in 8 modern treatment facilities, with high-quality equipment, throughout Buckinghamshire. We can be flexible on location to include High Wycombe, Amersham, or Chalfont and Gerrards Cross.
As our Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner, you will provide outpatient clinical assessments and treatments for patients presenting with musculoskeletal conditions. You will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients with varying diagnoses and/or highly complex needs using evidence-based and/or patient-centered principles. You will support less junior members of the team with clinical queries. If you are trained in MSK ultrasound, there is an opportunity to do point of care ultrasound and ultrasound-guided injections, and there is also the opportunity to work closely with secondary care consultants doing case review clinics.
We are co-located within an NHS diagnostics service, with access to same-day X-ray, and you will be able to refer for MRI/ultrasound/blood tests and direct to specialist secondary care services.
Who we are looking for
You will be a qualified HCPC physiotherapist with injection skills. It would be advantageous if you have a recognised postgraduate orthopaedic musculoskeletal training and previous triage and clinical supervision experience. In addition, you will need a full UK driver’s license and access to your own vehicle.
