You will manage a small but highly complex caseload, providing full Occupational Therapy assessments and support to children with the most complex and significant needs following initial assessment by the Senior Occupational Therapist being supervised. This will include providing review and follow ups of complex full OT assessments, providing advice and support for children and young people with a wide range of needs and will include completing risk assessments for the provision of distinctly specialist equipment and making recommendations for major and minor adaptations.

You will engage with partner agencies to ensure continued support of children/young people with complex needs and their families in challenging circumstances.

You will have access to formal and informal learning opportunities that will enable continued professional development as well as develop line management skills. You will report into the Occupational Therapy Team Managers, who you will meet with regularly to ensure the continued improvement of service outcomes for children and young people in Surrey.
