Are you an experienced and autonomous Advanced Nurse Practitioner looking for a rewarding locum opportunity in Hastings?

Arc Locums is a well–established and highly regarded Locum Agency and we are committed to providing high–quality staff to Primary Care Providers. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team on a locum basis.

About the Role:

As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner Locum, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, responsible for providing comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients presenting with a variety of acute and chronic conditions. You will work autonomously, utilising your advanced clinical skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Independently assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic conditions, following established protocols and guidelines.
  2. Prescribe medications within your scope of practice and in accordance with relevant legislation.
  3. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, X–rays, and ECGs.
  4. Develop and implement individualised patient care plans.
  5. Provide health promotion and disease prevention advice to patients.
  6. Make referrals to specialist services as required.
  7. Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in accordance with organisational policies.
  8. Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals within the multidisciplinary team.
  9. Participate in clinical governance activities, including audits and service improvement initiatives.
  10. Keep up–to–date with current evidence–based practice and guidelines.
