Job Description:

Advanced Education & Application Support Provider, UK+IE d&b audiotechnik GB Limited is a subsidiary of d&b audiotechnik GmbH & Co KG and responsible for the distribution of d&b audiotechnik products in Great Britain and Ireland. The post holder is primarily responsible for the provision of sound system design & technical support related to d&b audiotechnik products & their applications.

Key Job Responsibilities:

1. Advanced System Design Support:
   Provide, or assist in the provision of, sound system designs to include:
   1. Evaluation, planning & presentation of system design proposals.
   2. The use of acoustic simulation & CAD programmes e.g. VW, EASE, Sketchup, AutoCAD, BIM, Revit.
   3. Written proposals, reports & acoustic models.
   4. System optimisation & commissioning.
2. Advanced Application Support:
   Ensure the timely delivery of:
   1. Application consultancy on the use & integration of d&b audiotechnik products and technologies.
   2. Working alongside internal teams, develop business winning strategies around the d&b product portfolio.
   3. Ability to adapt, create and conduct formal presentations, demonstrate product features, workflows and technical attributes to professionals working at the highest level.
3. Education:
   Work as part of a team to deliver the d&b education programme.
   Assist & educate the d&b Partner network in sound system design & optimisation.
   Create and deliver one-off topical seminars for industry events.

Key Person Characteristics:

Must be able to solve problems of a technical nature & make informed decisions. Must be able to work independently and remotely whilst maintaining a high level of productivity and engagement.

Skill/Ability required or desirable:

1. Proven experience with large scale/complex live events and installations.
2. Sound system design experience using d&b software.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills and industry reputation.
4. Knowledge of EASE and/or other acoustic simulation tools.
5. Experience of using CAD software.
6. Experience of product demonstrations.
7. Experience of delivering training programmes.
8. National (& occasional International) travelling with overnight stops will be required.
