We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Gartree, a category B men's prison, located in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.

Hours
Tues - Fri (22.5 hrs), from 08:30 - 16:30. This is a part-time position working 3 days per week (Tues - Fri)

Salary
You'll receive an annual salary up to £64,471 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing

As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, your responsibilities will vary. You will:

• Demonstrate judgement in assessing and managing wide-ranging and complex patient problems
• Provide clinical leadership for the mental health team, which is made up of a variety of registered and non-registered professionals including mental health and substance misuse practitioners
• Support senior clinicians on site as part of the daily leadership team, providing clinical input for all patients
• As a clinical expert in your field, work with the team to ensure patient safety, manage complex cases, and apply the most up-to-date treatment methodology to patient care.

Qualifications required:

• Registered Nurse - Adult Mental Health with current NMC or Registered Paramedic with current HCPC
• Independent/supplementary prescriber qualification
• MSc in Advanced Practice
• Experience working autonomously as an advanced clinical practitioner following best practice guidance

Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment.
