What you will do:

1. Provide comprehensive assessments, develop tailored care plans, and deliver interventions to support adults with mental health needs in the community.
2. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive and effective care is provided.
3. Engage with clients, families, and carers to offer holistic support and guidance.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with legal and organisational requirements.
5. Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and training to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

1. A degree or equivalent in Social Work (e.g., BA or MA in Social Work).
2. Registration with Social Work England.
3. Previous experience working as a social worker within mental health services, ideally in a community setting.
4. Strong knowledge of mental health legislation, including the Mental Health Act and Care Act.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage with individuals who may be vulnerable or distressed.
