Job description

Service Care Solutions is working on behalf of an employee-focused local authority, based in Lincolnshire, which needs an experienced Adult Social Care Lawyer to join their team.

The duration of this contract is on a 3-month rolling basis. They can pay a competitive rate of £50-£60ph umbrella and this role is outside of IR35! This can be done on a remote basis.

Key Responsibilities of the Adult Social Care Lawyer role:

1. Provide legal advice on complex issues related to Adult Social Care. This will include deprivation of Liberty Applications, Deputyship, and the interrelation of the Mental Health legislation in Adult Social Care Proceeding.
2. Support junior members of the Adult Social Care legal team.
3. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

Requirements:

1. Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Barrister with a minimum of 3 years of PQE in Adult Social Care law.
2. Experience in representing clients in court and tribunals.
3. Someone who has worked for a public sector organization within an Adult Social Care legal team.
