Currently have vacancies for Adult Care Workers, with full-time and part-time positions available.

An excellent opportunity to join us at Allied Care in one of our care homes in Devon in Cullompton. We are looking to hire committed and compassionate Care Assistants, with previous care experience, to join our friendly, professional team.

Responsibilities and Duties

Our Care Assistants support adults with learning disabilities and mental ill health conditions in a care home environment. Duties include:

• Supporting service users with personal care.
• Encouraging independence
• Improving quality of life
• Supporting with activities

Qualifications and Skills

• Genuine desire to care for others
• Reliable, compassionate, honest, and kind
• Available to work weekends
• Driving license is an advantage but not required
• NVQ level 2 desirable; full training will be provided, some experience within the care sector is an advantage
• Clear DBS

Working Patterns:

We are looking for Care Assistants to work on a shift pattern. Since vulnerable people need care all the time, we ask that you work on a rota basis, which includes weekends and bank holidays, to ensure our clients always have the support they need.

Shift patterns:

7.5 hour shift - Am/Pm

Weekends on and off pattern
