ADR Driver (Class 2 Tanker)

Gi Group are recruiting for a Tanker Driver/LGV Class 2 Driver working out of our client's depot in Okehampton. Our client is an employee-owned fuel and lubricant distribution business supplying commercial and domestic customers.

Details for the position of Class 2 Rigid Driver:

1. Daily loading of the vehicle at the company depot or designated fuel terminal, ensuring to follow Health & Safety Guidelines.
2. Multi-drop work delivering Kerosene, road diesel, and gas oil to domestic and commercial customers.
3. Ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly and handed back to the office at the end of each shift.
4. Weekend shifts and overtime flexibility during the seasonal demand.
5. Communication with the depot regularly regarding deliveries.

Skills Required for the Class 2 Rigid Driver:

1. Clean HGV Class 2 Licence (held for a minimum of 2 years)
2. ADR including Class 3 Flammable Liquids (desirable, not essential)
3. ADR Tanks (desirable, not essential)
4. Friendly and Polite
5. Excellent customer service skills
6. Well organised and can use own initiative
7. Knowledge of local area

Standard Details:

1. 40 hours per week
2. 7.30am-17.00pm
3. Permanent/Full Time
4. Monday - Friday
