Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
Previous administration experience is essential.
Proven minute taking skills and experience is essential.
Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
The purpose of the role is to provide crucial secretariat support to Senior Leaders, the Governance Lead, the Resourcing Lead and other HR Projects. The role holder will be responsible for ensuring the high-profile department runs efficiently and effectively. Primarily office admin role and does not require specific resourcing experience. Must be comfortable attending meetings and taking notes.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting logistics of meetings which comprise of scheduling meetings, circulating papers and tracking actions as well as attending meetings and taking minutes.
Providing high level administration support for business-as-usual work within the RMO.
Raising purchase orders and dealing with associated invoice queries.
Supporting senior leaders, governance meetings and undertaking logistical tasks such as diary management, mailboxes and event planning.
Supporting HR’s recruitment requirements including: uploading adverts onto the Met’s recruitment portal, collating applications, arranging interviews, tracking vacancies and recruitment activity, and on-boarding for new staff.
There is also an element of project support dependent on the demands of current projects.
To support the work of the RMO, the role holder will be engaging with senior colleagues to deliver tasks commissioned.
