Work Schedule: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; Monday – Friday with occasional evening and weekend required in conjunction with events schedule.
This position may be eligible for a telework schedule once onboarding into position is complete and with supervisor approval.
Primary Purpose of Position:
Serves as an office support coordinator for school and community partnerships and assists and facilitates in the planning, organizing, and support of student teaching and clinical placements, conferences, workshops, seminars, and meetings. Provides excellent customer service to students, school and community partners, faculty, and staff. This position assists faculty, the Assistant Dean of School and Community Partnerships, and the Director of Educational Outreach with coordination of works as it arises.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from high school; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
University Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced: Graduation from high school, or completion of its equivalency, and three years of office/clerical work experience; or an equivalent combination of training/experience.
Serves as an office support coordinator for school and community partnerships and assists and facilitates in the planning, organizing, and support of student teaching and clinical placements, conferences, workshops, seminars, and meetings. This position assists faculty, the Assistant Dean of School and Community Partnerships, and the Director of Educational Outreach. Provides excellent customer service to students, school and community partners, faculty, and staff. Processes honorarium and speaker payments for events/conferences. Understands programs and services to apply this knowledge in problem-solving and responding to most questions and inquiries. Uses program knowledge to interface with other offices and organizations. Answers callers’ questions regarding conferences, workshops, seminars, and meetings. Collects attendees' conference fees and prepares daily deposits. Prepares honorariums for speakers/facilitators.
Other Work Responsibilities:
Maintain and file reports and forms for attendance and expenditures. Complete check requests from verbal or written instructions from Assistant Dean, Office Manager, and/or Director of OEO. Prepare student data reports when requested by Office Manager, Director of OEO, or Assistant Dean. Order office supplies, inventory, etc. as needed. Maintain supply inventory and ordering supplies for department or as directed by the Office Manager.
