The Specialist Operations Branch is made up of around 1,000 police officers and staff.
The Central Ticket Office (CTO) is responsible for the administration and processing of Road Safety Camera offences, Fixed Penalties, Traffic Offence Reports and any associated driver awareness courses.
The admin assistant plays a key role in the CTO, supporting the unit teams and team leaders with comprehensive administrative cover.
Dealing with high volumes of data input and offence correspondence together with related tasks such as call centre cover, court file preparation, scanning and postal duties, the CTO Admin Assistant is trained to be able to support any team where required.
A candidate is sought who is able to work as part of a team and be flexible to ensure support where necessary to other teams when required. The candidate will have a good standard of education, an overall knowledge of Microsoft applications and be able to process/input high volume data both efficiently and accurately.
The candidate will have good interpersonal skills to be able to deal with the public on the telephone and in writing and to work with other team members to achieve desired outcomes.
This role is based at Hyde Police Station.
