Job Title: Administrative Assistant – Global Agrochemical Company

Contract: 12 months

Location: Grangemouth, Scotland

Salary: £13.25

Working pattern: 5 Days on site, 36 hours per week

SRG are working with a global Agrochemical company that are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their busy team. They are looking for an experienced candidate with at least 2 years industrial experience.

You will perform a variety of administrative functions, including scheduling appointments, providing information to callers, composing memos, transcribing notes, and creating presentations. You will generate reports, handle multiple projects, and prepare and monitor invoices and expense reports. You may assist with compiling and developing the annual budget.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide an effective PA, secretarial, and administrative service to the Manufacturing Plants and Grangemouth Site.
  • Support Plant Task Force Meetings, Inquiries & Engineering Meetings, and act as Q Pulse Administrator for the Quality Database.
  • Arrange meetings and events for Site personnel, including internal, inter-site, and external attendees, and provide necessary support for these meetings.
  • Maintain the general tidiness and facilities of the office.
  • Jointly arrange large events (e.g., Strategy Events on site) and business meetings, including booking venues, transport, and catering, while keeping accurate records and adhering to departmental standards.
  • Keep accurate records of all Site vehicles, ensuring insurance records are up-to-date. Raise accurate purchase orders and BACs requests for stationery, sponsorships, donations, and other supplies as needed.

Essential Requirements:

  • 3 years' experience within a multi-disciplined office environment.
  • 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially detailed knowledge of Outlook.
  • Experience in dealing successfully with a diverse range of people, both internally and externally.
  • Experience in meeting and events coordination and arrangements.
  • Familiarity with purchasing processes and systems.
  • Experience with SAP is desirable.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, handle pressure, and prioritize a diverse workload.
  • A team player who is also self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Flexibility to changing demands.
