To provide leadership and support to the Emergency Department Administration team to ensure that as a team we provide the best possible patient journey, ensuring that the Trust values and beliefs are maintained at all times.
Operating within clearly defined limits of the policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines of the department, and as part of a team this post carries responsibility for the smooth running of the Accident & Emergency Department, reflecting high quality customer care in all daily activities. This includes working unsupervised and supporting the achievement of the Emergency Access Target and contributing towards Departmental finances by paying special attention to the accuracy and completeness of data needed under Payment by Results.
