Temporary Administration Officer - Business SupportRef number: Durham RES/25/69This is an office working role which is hybrid. The successful candidate will need to be inducted and trained in the office for 2-4 weeks then will work 2 days in the office and 3 days at home from 830-5pm (Mon-Thurs) and 830-420 (Fri).Please do not apply for this role unless your CV meets the following general requirements, listed below:
  • You must be UK based and have the right to work in the UK.
  • For office based and hybrid roles, your commute to the place of work must be less than 1 hour.
  • This is a temporary role. Please do not apply if you are seeking a permanent position.
Skills & Experience:
  • Relevant professional experience in an administrative role, with a proven track record of supporting management and handling sensitive information.
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
What's involved with this role: As an Administration Officer, you will provide comprehensive administrative business support to ensure smooth operations, assist management with document preparation, and manage internal and external communications, contributing to efficient service delivery.Key duties:
  • Provide administrative support by preparing documents, correspondence, and reports for management.
  • Coordinate and organize meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
  • Maintain and update office records, databases, and files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Handle communication with internal and external stakeholders, addressing queries and requests.
  • Assist in managing projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and in line with organizational priorities.
