Job description

Position: Full-Time Temporary Administration Officer - Manchester city centre
Contract: Until the end of June 2025 with the possibility of extending further
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours (37 hours per week)
Hourly Rate: £11.59 increasing to £12.53 after weeks worked - This will also increase in line with the national minimum wage increase in April 2025


Job Description:
We are currently seeking an organised, motivated Admin Officer to support the admin team based in our offices in Manchester city centre. This role includes but is not limited to:

  1. Data inputting
  2. Typing of court orders
  3. Fee accounting
  4. Listing of court hearings
  5. Manual filing of papers and files
  6. Face-to-face interaction with judiciary and court users
  7. Completion and opening of office post
  8. Telephone work
  9. Hosting of video link hearings (training provided)
Knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Word is beneficial. Excellent communication and IT skills are required for this post.


Requirements:
Minimum qualifications:

  1. Five GCSEs at Grade C or above (including English Language or equivalent)
  2. NVQ Business Administration Level 2, or relevant clerical experience
Skills:
  1. Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
