About The Role

Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week
Number of Positions: 1
Start Date: 1st May 2025
Salary: The starting salary is £22,005 and the full-time equivalent is £25,584

We have an exciting opportunity for an Administration Officer to join our fantastic team at Manchester Enterprise Academy (MEA).

Main purpose of the job:

  • To deliver efficient, responsive, and high-quality administrative and financial support to the school, managing the day-to-day operations of the department with a strong sense of independence.
  • The role is crucial in ensuring the smooth running of administrative tasks, contributing to the overall success of the school’s operations.
  • The post holder will report directly to the School Operations Manager.
  • In addition to working closely with other school staff, the primary contacts for this role include the Head Teacher, teaching staff, support staff, students, and parents. Collaboration with these stakeholders will be essential to ensure the seamless operation of the school’s administrative functions.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an administrative support environment.

Applicants will need to be highly organised and possess excellent numeracy and literacy skills to effectively manage administrative tasks and contribute to the smooth operation of the school.

They should also demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships.
