Job Title: Administration Officer

Salary: £22,932 per annum pro rata + £750 per annum pro rata homeworking allowance

Hours & Contract: 21 Hours per week - Permanent Role

Location: Homebased in the Merseyside / Wirral area

Overall Duties Of The Role Will Include:
  • Manage inbound and outbound post daily using the virtual systems in place.
  • Respond to telephone calls and allocate these to staff as appropriate.
  • Administratively deal with the foster care training.
  • Liaise with the Duty Social Worker, Placement Officer and Area Manager regarding requesting and chasing children and young people outstanding looked after paperwork.
  • Compile and produce weekly newsletters/briefings for foster carers.
  • Support the Children Resource Worker in producing quarterly children and young people newsletters.
  • Take panel minutes in the absence of the Admin Manager and Senior Admin Officer.
  • Carry out any other task that the Admin Manager, Area Manager or any other Social Worker requires.

The Administration Officer should be based within a reasonable travel distance of the Merseyside / Wirral area and will be required to travel to face-to-face meetings at least once a month and on other occasions for training and team wellbeing events.

A Standard DBS clearance is required for this role and will be processed by TACT on your behalf.
