The Food Factory Trust (TFF) is a not-for-profit facility based in Stoke, Nelson, offering commercial grade food manufacturing facilities, a collegial environment and education for food and beverage entrepreneurs and support to community groups.
We’re seeking a hands-on administrator to manage the day-to-day operations of The Food Factory for 10-12 hours per week. You’ll oversee operations, tenant management, financials, and trustee board meetings, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing
Operations & Compliance
- Oversee the seamless running of The Food Factory, ensuring all spaces are safe, efficient, and inspiring.
- Manage and support funded programmes, working closely with facilitators to ensure success.
- Maintain high health & safety standards, keeping all common areas Food Safe compliant.
- Take a proactive approach to facility maintenance, swiftly addressing any operational challenges.
- Oversee our social media presence, managing posts and responses across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Tenant & Community Management
- Build strong relationships with current tenants, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Be the first point of contact for new tenant inquiries, leading tours and managing contracts.
- Actively seek out and propose exciting new tenants that align with our vision.
- Keep our finances in check by maintaining accurate records in Xero and preparing monthly board reports.
- Work alongside the Trustee Board to manage funding applications and reporting.
- Organise and lead Trustee Board meetings, setting the agenda, compiling reports, and ensuring follow-ups are actioned.
